DIY Network To Begin Fourth Annual “Toilet Bowl Marathon” on Super Sunday, February 6

DIY Network begins the fourth annual Toilet Bowl Marathon on Sunday, Feb. 6 at 7 a.m. ET.

The 17-hour block of bathroom renovation programming includes episodes of popular series BATHtastic!, Bath Crashers, 10 Killer Bathroom Projects and America’s Ugliest Bathrooms. In support of “Toilet Bowl IV,” DIY Network’s companion website, DIYNetwork.com, is giving away 30 tricked-out toilet seats to readers of their blog  starting Thursday, Jan. 27.

Now through Monday, Feb. 7, visitors to DIYNetwork.com’s blog, The Pegboard, can enter for a chance to win one of 30 Bemis toilet seats featuring the latest in installation and maintenance technology. Winners will be chosen at random among those who visit http://blog.diynetwork.com/tool-tips/  and post a reply in the comments section under the Toilet Bowl post.

Featuring cutting-edge new materials, amazing design tips and essential DIY know-how, DIY Network’s Toilet Bowl will show viewers how to revitalize any bathroom, great or small.

Throughout the day, DIY Network will feature bathroom renovation projects that range from removing mold in older bathrooms to installing luxury fixtures in spa-inspired master suites.

Matt Muenster, licensed contractor and host of BATHtastic! and Bath Crashers, will show viewers what they can do to their bathroom with just a few days work and some elbow grease.

The programming lineup includes episodes of BATHtastic! Featuring projects such as: enlarging a basement bathroom, installing a whirlpool tub and heated tile flooring, creating creative hidden storage solutions, and installing a sauna shower with an integrated sound system.

Bath Crashers episodes will focus on projects like: transforming a kitchen into an extra bathroom, expanding a shower space to include two water fixtures and a quick-flow drain system, creating skylights, and installing water – and energy-conserving fixtures. 10 Killer Bathroom Projects gives viewers a look into projects under $500, quick and easy fixes and secrets from the trade. America’s Ugliest Bathrooms features ten of the country’s strangest, most dysfunctional bathrooms.
