There are plenty of book types that you can find online. Romance novels are one of them.
If you are interested in reading romance novels, then you will be happy to see that you can find plenty of books of this type online at great low prices. It is true that the romance book category is one that is very popular, but there are also subcategories and different types of romance books that you can find online. Such as:
– Popular romance books
These are the most widely available Romance Books online. Usually, these books are written by some well-known authors that have become popular throughout the years. Many readers prefer books from a certain author and are always on the lookout for when their next book is coming out.
– Books by independent and self-published authors
While finding these in a book store may not be that easy, online it is a different game. You can find plenty of great books written by self-published authors that you may not have heard about before. If you want to know more about some of the lesser known authors out there, you may want to check out a literary forum or a social networking group that discusses literature or more specifically, romance novels. Some of these books are sold only as eBooks, while others are published in paper format as well. Electronic books can be downloaded and read onto your computer. If you want to take them on the go, you can transfer them over to a tablet PC or smart phone. To make reading easier, you can also purchase an e-reader device that has been specially designed to display electronic books.
– Foreign published books
If you want to read romance stories from another culture, then there are plenty of foreign romance books available which have been translated into English. They may not always be very popular in book stores, but finding them online is relatively easy. You can spot some books published in Europe, as well as in Asia. Many readers especially find Japanese romance novels to be an interesting read.
– Erotic books
These books have a similar storyline than many romance books but they dive more deeply into human sexuality. You can find stronger language and more detailed descriptions of sex acts in this type of book. Online, some of these books are sold as physical books; however, in the erotic genre eBooks made by independent authors are enjoying a huge popularity among adults who like this kind of literature. It is not hard to find entire sites dedicated to erotic eBooks just by doing a quick Google search. Another great thing about this erotic eBooks is that they are much less expensive than other types of romance books, often selling for prices between $1 and $5.
Carmella Borcher is the author of this article and is an avid fan of Romance Books – particularly Erotic Books and Erotic eBooks.

The Five Books of Moses: A Translation with Commentary $39.95 “Through a distinguished career of critical scholarship and translation, Robert Alter has equipped us to read the Hebrew Bible as a powerful, cohesive work of literature. The culmination of this work, Alter’s masterly new translation and probing commentary combine to give contemporary readers the definitive edition of “The Five Books.” Alter’s majestic translation recovers the mesmerizing effect of these ancient stories-the profound and haunting enigmas, the ambiguities of motive and image, and the distinctive cadences and lovely precision of the Hebrew text. Other modern translations either recast these features for contemporary clarity, thereby losing the character of the original, or fail to give readers a suitably fluid English as a point of contact. Alter’s translation conveys the music and the meaning of the Hebrew text in a lyrical, lucid English. His accompanying commentary illuminates the text with learned insight and reflection on its literary and historical dimensions.” |

Textual Translation and Live Translation $158 After the many interdisciplinary perspectives on nonverbal communication offered by the author in his previous seven John Benjamins books, which have generated a wide range of scholarly applications, the present monograph is dominated by a very broad concept of translation. This treatment of translation includes theater and cinema (enriching our intellectual-sensorial experience of both ‘reading act’ and ‘viewing act’) and offers among other topics: sensorial-intellectual-emotional pre- and post-reading interactions with books; mute or audible ‘oralization’ of texts; the translator’s linguistic and nonverbal-cultural fluency and implicit textual paralanguage and kinesics; translating functions of pictorial illustrations; the blind’s text and film perception; the foreign reader’s cultural background and circumstances; theater and cinema spectators’ total sensory-intellectual experience of plays and films beyond staging or projection; the multiple interrelationships between cinema and theater performers, spectators and their environments, of special interest to all those involved in the theater; and the translator’s challenging textual perception of sounds and movements. Over 800 literary quotations, and two virtually exhaustive English inventories of sound- and movement-denoting words with many examples, offer serious students of translation, language or literature a rich reference and drill source. |

The Wisdom Books: Job, Proverbs, And Ecclesiastes: A Translation With Commentary $24.79 Here, in Robert Alter’s bold new translation, are some of the most magnificent works in world literature. The astounding poetry in the Book of Job is restored to its powerful ancient meanings and rhythms. The account of creation in its Voice from the Whirlwind is beautiful and incendiary-an unforgettable challenge to the place of man in the universe. The serene fatalism that construes life as ephemeral and without purpose suffuses Ecclesiastes with a quiet beauty. The pithy maxims of Proverbs impart a worldly wisdom that is still sound and satirically shrewd. Each of these books conveys and undermines the universal wisdom that the righteous thrive and the wicked suffer in a rational moral order; together they are essential to the ancient canon that is the Hebrew Bible. In Alter’s translation they regain the energy and force of the original, enhancing their ongoing relevance to the lives of modern readers. A magnificent new volume in Robert Alter’s award-winning, landmark translation of and commentary on the Hebrew Bible. |

The Book Of Psalms: A Translation With Commentary $14.39 A cornerstone of the scriptural canon, The Book of Psalms has been a source of solace and joy for countless readers over millennia. This timeless poetry is beautifully wrought by a scholar whose translation of The Five Books of Moses was hailed as a "godsend" by Seamus Heaney and a "masterpiece" by Robert Fagles. Alter’s The Book of Psalm s captures the simplicity, the physicality, and the coiled rhythmic power of the Hebrew, restoring the remarkable eloquence of these ancient poems. His learned and insightful commentary illuminates the obscurities of the text. One of Newsweek ’s Best Books of the Year and winner of the Robert Kirsch Award for Lifetime Achievement. |

Translation Under State Control: Books for Young People in the German Democratic Republic $59.99 In this book, Gaby Thomson-Wohlgemuth explores the effects of ideology on the English-to-German translation of children’s literature under the socialist regime of the former German Democratic Republic. Giving prominence to extra-textual factors, the study undertakes a close investigation of the East German censorship machinery, showing that there was a close correlation between the socialist ideology propagated by the regime and the book selection process itself. Through an analysis of the contents of the print permit (censorship) files and the afterwords found in many books, Thomson-Wohlgemuth demonstrates that literature was re-written not only to placate the censor but also to directly guide the reader down the correct ideological path, both in the selection and interpretation of each translated text. Thomson-Wohlgemuth begins this engaging study with a concise but thorough historical background of East German children’s literature, setting the context for an examination of how the state and party operated to control the development of the genre. She highlights the fact that there was multi-level censorship at work, with the Unity Party propagating certain ideological literary policies, and the publishers self-censoring when selecting suitable texts for translation and publication. This book serves as an exemplary study of how publishers collaborated with the state in all Eastern European countries, and should be of interest to historians and children’s literature scholars alike. |

Metamorphoses: A New Translation $10.79 Ovid’s epic poem-whose theme of change has resonated throughout the ages-is one of the most important texts of Western imagination, an inspiration from Dante’s times to the present day, when writers such as Salman Rushdie and Italo Calvino have found a living source in Ovid’s work. Charles Martin combines a close fidelity to Ovid’s text with verse that catches the speed and liveliness of the original. Martin’s Metamorphoses will be the translation of choice for contemporary readers in English. This volume also includes endnotes and a glossary of people, places, and personifications. "Martin’s complete text is clearly something to look forward to with high expectations."-Bernard Knox, The New York Review of Books "A reader who wants to understand Ovid’s poem as a whole, as well as to learn its many famous stories, will find Mr. Martin’s clarity and tact invaluable."- The New York Sun "Smoothly readable, accurate, charming, subtle yet clear….A lucidly fluent version of this most flowing of poems."-Richard Wilbur A version that has been long awaited, and likely to become the new standard."- Washington Post |

Classic Philosophy: Seven Books By Nietzsche, In English Translation, In A Single File $1.19 This file includes seven books: The Antichrist, Beyond Good and Evil, The Case of Wagner/Nietzsche Contra Wagner/Selected Aphorisms, Thoughts Out of Season Part 1, Thus Spake Zarathustra, and We Philologists, plus the lecture "Homer and Classical Philology". According to Wikipedia: "Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (October 15, 1844 – August 25, 1900) was a nineteenth-century German philosopher and classical philologist. He wrote critical texts on religion, morality, contemporary culture, philosophy, and science, using a distinctive German language style and displaying a fondness for metaphor and aphorism. Nietzsche's influence remains substantial within and beyond philosophy, notably in existentialism and postmodernism. His style and radical questioning of the value and objectivity of truth have resulted in much commentary and interpretation, mostly in the continental tradition, and some analytic philosophy. His key ideas include interpreting tragedy as an affirmation of life, an eternal recurrence (which numerous commentators have re-interpreted), a rejection of Platonism, and a repudiation of both Christianity and Egalitarianism (especially in the form of Democracy and Socialism). |

1 Samuel $29.01 For centuries people have turned to the Hebrew Bible to hear the life-giving words of God’s everlasting covenant. Berit Olam: Studies in Hebrew Narrative and Poetry shares the riches of this message with all who seek to hear it. Twenty-four volumes are projected for the series. Anticipate one volume in the series each spring and fall.– This series reflects the latest developments in a relatively new method of biblical study: literary criticism.– The authors approach the books of the Hebrew Bible as literary works, recognizing that the stories and poetry can be better appreciated if one is acquainted with the techniques whereby the ancient Hebrew authors told stories and wrote poems, as well as the strategies that modern readers use to understand them.– The contributors represent a variety of religious traditions, and theoretical approaches.– The authors comment on the text of the Hebrew Bible but they refer primarily to the New Revised Standard Version when referring to a modern translation.– The volumes in Berit Olam contain commentary only; the complete biblical text is not included.Organizing the text through the three interlocking themes of class, race, and gender, Jobling asks how this historical story relates to a modern world. |

2 Thessalonians $37.95 The second letter to the Thessalonians, ascribed to Paul, is one of the most difficult New Testament documents for modern readers. This lucid text approaches the letter from a historical point of view, reading the letter as part of a process of communication between its sender and the original addressees. 2 Thessalonians includes a translation of the short Greek text of the letter, a historical examination of the letter’s genre, authorship and religious milieu, as well as an introduction to apocalyptic eschatology and an extensive commentary on the letter. 3D Abu nuhas – Red Sea, Egypt Waterproof Dive Site Card $9.95 Sha’ab Abu Nuhfs is a large slightly triangular shaped reef located around two miles to the north of Shadwan Island (also known as Shaker Island). The translation of Abu Nuhfs is Father of Brass , Abu being father and Nuhfs meaning brass. Whilst there is not anybrass here, it certainly deserves its other name – The Ship’s Graveyard . Abu Nuhfs is a wreck divers dream come true boasting fourvastly different wrecks in very close proximity to each other and all within comfortable diving depths of 100 ft (30 meters) or less. The wrecks are located on the north side of the reef and this requires calm surface conditions for mooring. Back in the early 90’s when divers used day boats here from Hurghada they often had no choice but to moor in less than ideal conditions, however thesedays most boats which come here have a RIB or boat tender. This means that the main dive boat moors behind the reef near a sand lagoon or behind Woodvalley Reef the tenders then ferry divers through this channel and out to the wrecks. If weather really is too rough to dive the wrecks, and if current allows Woodvalley Reef itself is a lovely dive. There is also the option of diving Yellow Fish Reef (located on the south side of Abu Nuhfs) a reef which makes a great night dive. This unique card provides detailed depiction of the Reef and Wreaks. Each waterproof card is printed on both sides, made of durable PVC plastic and is designed to be taken on the dive. They are also 3-hole punched to fit in standard log books. |
