This book has 12 chapters, Bible Study and reflection questions for individual and group use. The author has an MBA in finance and a Doctorate in educational leadership.

Find regular times or methods to read and study that suit you.

Read the Bible in small pieces, giving yourself time to digest its messages.

Learn to use tools for Bible Study such as Topical Bibles, Concordances, Chain References, and Commentaries.

Key: Test Signs Against Scriptures and circumstances, yet trust that God may be drawing you closer.

Chapter 10: What If the Guiding Light Seems Dim?

Key: God’s guidance is more like a lamp unto our feet than a lighthouse beaming far into the future.

The story of Joseph in Egypt is found in Genesis 37-45. Between the time his brothers sold him into slavery and the time they came to him for food at least 13 years passed. He said to his brothers “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives” (50:20).

Chapter 11: How Can I Plan If My Future Is In God’s Hands?

Key: Living Within God’s will means looking for God, listening for God, talking with God, all without ceasing.

Consider memorizing Jeremiah 29:11 as a source of hope in uncertainty.

Pardes Rimonim, Orchard of Pomegranates – Vol.4, Parts 9-12 $107.48 Pardes Rimonim is a classic work of authentic Kabbalah penned by the preeminent scholar, Rabbi Moshe Cordovero (Ramak). A powerful intellect, fertile writer, and gigantic figure in Kabbalah, Ramak (circa 1520-1570) distinguished himself first in Talmudic studies while under the tutelage of Rabbi Yosef Caro. However, he began his Kabbalah studies at age 20 with Rabbi Shlomo Alkabetz, who was both his brother-in-law and composer of Lecha Dodi. In the Pardes, Ramak also displays a marked philosophical influence by the Rambam (Rabbi Moshe Ben Maimon, i.e. Maimonides). Indeed, Ramak’s encyclopedic work in Kabbalah heralded the renaissance of kabbalistic genius that emerged after him in Safed. A comprehensive work collecting the kabbalistic learning of that time, the original Hebrew version of the Pardes was a single volume composed of 32 parts and was written in both Hebrew and Aramaic. This edition comprises 12 volumes, and this is volume 4.
